Savills was instructed on the acquisition of site and additional land on behalf of Urban & Civic, also calling into play our skills concerning development consultancy, new homes consultancy, research, plus commercial lettings, sales and management.

Our main challenge was that Urban & Civic needed to install a considerable amount of infrastructure in order to prepare the site for sale to housebuilders on the basis of strict design codes, considering that the site will likely grow to some 7,000 units together with 4 million sq ft of commercial space within an Enterprise Zone. 

Urban & Civic have worked closely with the Savills land team since the inception of our business in 2009.  Their knowledge of the strategic land market and of the house building community is frankly exceptional and continues to provide U&C with the input and expertise it requires.
