The real estate industry has historically felt inaccessible to those from some backgrounds. Our goal is to welcome diverse perspectives into our business by increasing awareness of the industry to those considering their future careers. 

We’ve been heading into schools, sharing the breadth of roles and opportunities available through a career with us. From an estate agent to a market master or property valuer – there’s the right fit for every interest and skill set. 

Our efforts have already been paying off, with a huge uptake in applications from underrepresented groups in our graduate and apprentice schemes – ultimately improving our diversity and representation.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality graduate and apprenticeship schemes, being continually ranked the number one graduate employer for property by The Times and winning best apprenticeship employer through Rate My Apprenticeship. Both of these were won not through our own submission, but as a result of the shared experiences of our graduates and apprentices. 

While continuing to inspire and support our future talent, we will also focus on expanding our strategy for experienced hires – looking to support those joining from other sectors. 

Our roles will always be visible and accessible to all, sharing vacancies on a wide range of job boards and platforms that support diversity. Our anonymised screening at the first stage ensures no unconscious bias comes into play, with competency questionnaires alongside structured interviews.
