CHALLENGE
Advising expanding AgriTech company who required a mixture of office and laboratory space within short timescales due to their serviced space agreement coming to an end. Supply of this ‘grow on’ type space was very tight around their preferred search area around the Oxford ring road.
 

SOLUTION
The local leasing team in Oxford combined with specialist Life Science Project Management team in Cambridge and were able to ensure all options were considered from a commercial and technical perspective from the outset. Given their previous premises the occupier wanted a fully fitted solution with Cat B works being undertaken by the Landlord. Our planning team secured consent for the additional plant required in record time to maintain the fast project programme.

RESULTS
The occupier was able to secure brand new purpose built laboratory space on the established Oxford Science Park within their timescales for occupation. Added to this the flexible floorplate allows them to occupy and grow in the short term as well as undertake further adaption for increased laboratory space in the future if needed.
