Savills is strongly supporting one of the main initiatives, called changing the face of property, along with other key companies such as JLL, Knight Frank, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, Avison Young, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Gerald Eve, LSH, Carter Jonas and Allsop.
As a graduate, we would actively encourage to get involved in the below schemes, and would welcome new ideas and initiatives.
Age
Our aim is to ensure the appropriate support is offered at all stages of our employees' careers. We hope this will encourage a wider age profile within the business and within the whole property sector.
Disability
Savills has joined the business disability forum and are completing a disability audit. We want to make sure property is a welcoming environment for all.
Ethnicity
By promoting careers within property in schools with high ethnic diversity, particularly in inner cities, Savills hopes to improve the ethnic diversity of people in property.
Gender
Savills has established a gender diversity group, aimed at improving the number of women in senior roles. Each year we employ a 50:50 gender split of graduates with our aim to achieve an equal balance from graduate through to director level and beyond.
LGBT
The LGBTQ+ group is a community for Savills employees. The group encourages all employees to use the group to participate, contribute and keep up-to-date with LGBTQ+ news and activities. We have launched an Allies network for all staff, with a focus on supporting LGTBQ+ staff.
Socio-economic
By actively promoting property to schools and offering apprenticeships, we hope to improve the socio-economic mix of people within our workplace.
