Charlie Wells is managing director of Savills UK buying arm Prime Purchase. He advises private clients and investors on the purchase of prime country houses, farms and estates.
Working alongside the rest of the team, Charlie advises clients on prime rural property throughout the UK. He has a comprehensive understanding of all matters residential, agricultural and rural. He previously ran both the central and southern regions of the business.
Over and above old rectories and manor houses, acquisitions include the purchase of a 5,500 acre Investment farm in southern England, a 1,200 acre estate in the Cotswolds, a Grade I listed stately home and a sporting estate in Hampshire.
Charlie stands out from his competitors in the strategic approach that he brings to deals and his ability to ‘think outside the box’ providing creative solutions to complicated transactions. Charlie is part of a large farming family from Wiltshire and the Cotswolds, and lives in Hampshire with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys shooting, fishing, racing and the world of fine art.
