Community

People are at the heart of our business. We look to create lasting, positive social impact on the communities where we do business, through engagement, charitable giving and volunteering initiatives.

We work closely with several charity partners spanning our sustainability strategy and encourage all of our employees to volunteer and fundraise for charities and causes within their local communities.

As leaders in the property industry, we understand the impact homelessness has on individuals and communities. For this reason , we are strategic partners with LandAid, the property industry charity working to end youth homelessness. As well as fundraising, we facilitate pro bono opportunities for LandAid charity partners.

2023 Key performance highlights
  • Donated 10,800 volunteering hours to charities, educational outreach and community groups.
  • Gave 620 pro bono hours including 327 hours via the LandAid pro bono programme
  • In 2023 we raised £85,000 for charity partner LandAid at their annual SleepOut.
  • Savills returned to the Chelsea Flower Show with the show’s first working kitchen, with sustainability at the heart of the design. Following the show, we worked with long-term charity partner Rethink Food to relocate The Savills Garden to a Shaw Trust children’s home, where it will continue to educate on the relationship between ‘plot to plate’ for years to come.

Further information about our charitable giving is detailed within our Sustainability Highlights Report.
