David set up and leads the energy optimisation team. He is responsible for the Cardiff based energy procurement and bureau teams. David joined in 2015 after 20 years’ energy experience.
David has been active in the energy industry in a variety of roles since his MSc in Energy in 1995. David was recruited to set up and drive forwards energy optimisation at Savills. David is responsible for both the team in Cardiff as well as energy optimisation nationally.
In addition to leading the energy team in Cardiff, David is an expert energy auditor, ESOS lead assessor and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional. He was the first person in the UK to be awarded a "Legend in Energy" by the International Association of Energy Engineers. In 2014 he was awarded the "Excellence in Energy Award" by the Energy Institute for his role of the architect for the team delivering the MOD's £108m spend to save program.
