CHALLENGE
Duchy Field is a village scheme in North Oxfordshire of 61 open market, shared ownership and affordable rent houses and apartments, in a scheme also providing a new local shop and primary school, delivered in line with the vision of the Duchy of Cornwall landowners.
SOLUTION
Provided consultancy advice in the purchase process – a build contract with the landowner, the Duchy of Cornwall, who retained control of all aspects of the project throughout the build. In an unknown location, establishing a new market, we advised on all aspects of the marketing and sales strategy, including providing staffing and overseeing all marketing campaigns to achieve high values.
RESULTS
With a highly sophisticated build and construction method, some materials selected by the now King himself, the majority of sales were off plan given the pace of build, and sales had to be achieved some time prior to build completion, with a variety of house types given little duplication.
