Savills was instructed as advisers on all town planning matters associated with the Arsenal on the Move scheme.

This included providing the Emirates Stadium, over 3,000 residential units, over 200,000 sq ft of commercial space, 650 student beds, circa 200 hotel beds, additional public realm and landscaping, plus converting the Grade II listed Arsenal Stadium in Highbury to residential use.
We worked with the client and a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts, advising on the overarching planning strategy, and detailed strategies for each parcel of land. We coordinated the preparation, submission and negotiation of outline planning applications, reserved matters, revised full planning applications, appeals and various amendments, as well as the discharge of planning conditions and obligations over the course of the project. Environmental impact assessments were undertaken where necessary.
We worked closely with the local planning authority and Mayor of London, and engaged with the local community throughout the process.
