Our team of specialists provide expert valuation advice and act as expert witnesses for property disputes across a broad range of sectors and locations. This includes disputes such as professional negligence, financial remedy proceedings, construction/building services defects, neighbourly matters, contract matters (including development agreements), rights of light and Section 18 valuations.
We understand that a property valuation expert’s role within dispute resolution is often complex and professionally challenging.
Ultimately, our aim is to provide comprehensive, professional, timely, impartial and objective advice and present our opinions in a clear and logical way that is of most assistance to the court/tribunal.
With each having at least ten years’ valuation experience and formal expert witness training, our team has given evidence in the High Court, and has extensive experience preparing CPR Part 35 reports and attending joint meetings and mediations.
Our expert valuers are led by a UK-wide cross divisional steering group (anchored within the valuation division) and collaborate with a wider team of around 150 expert witnesses, plus agency and research colleagues. This means our clients benefit from a comprehensive service for all potential components of a dispute.
Our expert witness team has experts spanning every sector, including: architecture & building surveying, building & project consultancy, development, housing, leisure & trade, operational capital markets, planning, professional services, property management, research, retail, rural & projects and investment.
