Growing up on the family farm in the Scottish borders, the countryside was instilled in Grant from an early age and he is humbled to be able to live and work in such a beautiful part of the world. Having run a small flock of pedigree sheep for over 20 years, Grant loves the hands-on work approach and been quite successful in the show and sale ring over the years. Grant is now supported by his wife and two daughters who share the same passion and his daughters are always willing to lend a hand, especially a lambing time! Hailing from the Scottish borders, its no surprise that rugby is another long-standing passion of Grants, having played up through all of the age groups at Jed-forest rugby club. Looking to put something back into rugby Grant recently took up a post of coaching the u18 Jed Thistle rugby team which he finds extremely rewarding and hopes to develop his coaching skills further.
