Jack joined Savills in February 2016 as a Chartered Building Surveyor, working within the Architecture & Building Surveying departments across the north of England and southern Scotland.
Jack began his career in property working in the Lake District National Park. He joined Savills in 2016, bringing with him a wealth of experience in building surveying and project management. Jack holds a bachelor's degree in building surveying from Northumbria University and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2013.
As an associate director at Savills, Jack undertakes a range of professional work for both private and institutional clients. His responsibilities include full building and structure-only surveys, specific defect analysis, reinstatement cost assessments, and schedules of dilapidation and condition reports. Jack also manages construction projects and oversees the maintenance and refurbishment of existing assets. His expertise extends to domestic, commercial, and agricultural refurbishment, as well as insurance reinstatement following flood and fire.
Jack has a keen interest in the design and construction of historic built environments and enjoys tackling problem-solving challenges. He has worked on various listed buildings and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Outside of work, Jack loves exploring the countryside, often spending his weekends walking and camping in the hills.
