Jonathan joined Savills in 2016 and has over 25 years’ experience working throughout the UK and Ireland.
With a background in architecture, Jonathan specialises in development plan promotions, planning applications and appeals for housing and mixed-use proposals, and the inter-relationship between town planning, masterplanning, urban and architectural design.
He has project managed, co-ordinated and prepared numerous masterplans, development briefs, planning applications and appeals, all with a view to achieving high-quality and carefully considered sustainable places.
Jonathan has appeared at many local plan examinations, appeal hearings, and has given expert witness evidence to public inquiries, on both planning matters and in relation to housing need and land supply.  He currently leads the Savills housing need and land supply working group, is a member of the strategic housing group and sits on the Thought Leadership Group.
Jonathan has presented at conferences and seminars, including those held by both the RTPI and RIBA, and has held various roles with the RTPI at regional and national level. He is an Associate member of the RIBA and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
