Mike is a member of the Savills national office team. He focuses on Edinburgh and the east of Scotland, acting as an adviser to both property owners and commercial occupiers.
Mike trained with Weatherall Green & Smith in London before returning to Edinburgh in 2002 to work with Montagu Evans; he subsequently joined Savills in 2018.
Mike is involved in providing advice ranging from: initial site acquisition and early design; through to the formulation and implementation of pre-letting, leasing, asset management and sale strategies. Typical clients include: pension funds; property companies; family offices and developers.
Mike also advises occupiers on property acquisitions and operational property strategies, including the disposal of surplus properties by way of assignation / sub-letting. Typical clients include: large corporate occupiers; PLCs, professional services firms; technology based business and public sector occupiers.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing golf.
