In a development plan public examination, we can objectively advocate for your interests through the preparation of representations and written statements backed by technical evidence and active participation in examination hearings.

For an appeal hearing or public inquiry, our role is expert witness – providing objective impartial opinion to assist the inspector in line with the requirements of the RICS and RTPI. We also work to coordinate appeal documentation and inputs from the project team as necessary.

For compulsory purchase or litigation hearings in court or the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), we provide impartial expert opinion in line with the civil procedure rules. These procedures require an understanding of where we can advise you, where we are able to advocate for your interests, and where we must be impartial because our duty is to the inquiry, court or tribunal.
