CHALLENGE
Established in 1993, Sentinel Healthcare is a privately owned group which provides general nursing care for over 65’s, care for individuals with physical disabilities, specialist palliative care, respite and dementia care.
Through organic growth the company has grown from its inception to now provide 219 registered care beds across five care facilities in four locations in Hampshire.
The founding directors decided to sell the group in order to focus on other business interests outside of the care industry.
SOLUTION
Savills was instructed to sell the group as a whole, by way of the transfer of 100% of the shares of Sentinel Health Care Limited.
Transfers of this nature can be complex and the challenge was to achieve the best possible consideration whilst minimising disruption to the business and protecting the brand reputation.
RESULTS
The portfolio sold by way of share transfer.
Craig Woollam, Head of Healthcare at Savills has been working with Sentinel Health Care for the past 27 years and sold the group their first 3 trading assets.
