CHALLENGE
Prologis asked us to advise on design, timing and specification of construction – together with market insight and occupier targeting.
SOLUTION
By leveraging our local occupier insight and extensive network, we provided Prologis with the means to market the laboratory opportunity globally. Our ongoing consultation and collaboration with stakeholders helped secure commitments for the first phase and generate interest from a range of science occupiers.
RESULTS
Since Savills’ appointment at Cambridge Biomedical Campus, both Abcam and AstraZeneca have been delivered to the Campus – which has added over 1m sq ft of specialist laboratories. Our role also included the delivery of a funding partner for the Abcam building in 2016/2017. In addition, 1000 Discovery Drive was let in its entirety to two occupiers prior to practical completion.
