Savills was instructed by Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) to provide consultancy and transactional services to the RNIB in regard to the sale of three operating care homes, a specialist college and a substantial specialist education and care facility.
The challenge was minimising disruption to the clients’ provision of services during the sale process whilst at the same time ensuring that a quality provider was sourced and best value achieved.
A detailed strategy and project plan was agreed, including key items such as criteria for assessing offers, applicant short listing, quality questionare, interviews, heads of terms and stakeholder consultation.
Savills ran a structured and professional process in accordance with this strategy, providing our client with regular and insightful progress updates throughout.
Two of the assets have now completed and the remaining three are close to completion.
