Sarah Chapman

She joined Savills in August 2020. Since then, Sarah has been instrumental in strengthening our approach and driving continuous improvement towards public sector tenders. She is a leader in public sector advisory, driving end-to-end bid management, alongside thought leadership on subjects such as PA23 and the Social Value Act 2012.

Beginning her bidding career as a university placement in 2011, Sarah is certified by the Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) with practitioner and foundation levels. She is currently working towards professional certification, which is the highest grade possible.

Alongside this, Sarah has been recognised three times by APMP. In 2022, she was listed in the final shortlist for the APMP UK Bid Excellence Award, recognised in the global 40 under 40 class for her achievements in 2020 and in 2016 in the final shortlist for the APMP UK People Development Award. Additionally she is a member of the APMP Intentional Career Path programme, who are responsible for initiating change and supporting pathways for future talent in the bid / proposal industry.

Passionate about diversity, Sarah is on our steering committees for our LGBTQ+ and social mobility working groups and acts as the social mobility network lead. Outside of Savills, she is a board director of Freehold LGBT+ CIC, which is a network to support LGBTQ+ professionals and allies working in the real estate / property industry. Sarah is also a member of the BE News DE&I Editorial Advisory Board, which is the only free news service to cover the entire built environment industry and features some of the most influential names from across the industry and DE&I landscape.
