CHALLENGE

Savills were appointed after the Applicant had undertaken Pre-Application Consultation on the scheme. This meant that Savills had to understand the project; the consultee’s responses; and how this might change the scheme, whether in scale/layout, methodology and assessment or formal output.

SOLUTION

Savills set out and adopted a robust review process so to understand, respond and refine the application documents – whilst also ensuring that they satisfied legislative and procedural requirements.

RESULTS

The DNS application was submitted to PEDW in May 2023 and approved in November 2024. The Application was subject to one period of suspension and delayed determination.
