National Tennis Centre, Bridgend

Full planning permission for a community indoor and outdoor tennis centre on a greenfield site outside of Bridgend's settlement boundary. Development of the facility has the full-backing of the Lawn Tennis Association and Tennis Wales and, once complete, will be a nationally significant sporting facility.

Wrexham AFC

Cardiff Planning continue to support Wrexham AFC with planning permissions in 2024 for a temporary stand and a new fan zone at Stōk Cae Ras as well as a resolution to grant permission for a new Academy at Darland High School.

Indurent Park, Newport

Secured Reserved Matters and discharge of selected Outline Planning Permission conditions for two new commercial units totalling 269,098 sqft of business space (B1, B2 & B8). Two applications were submitted to secure approval for different options while technical challenges with ground conditions were overcome by engineers.

Twyn Hwyel, Caerphilly

Supported the examination of and secured planning for 14 wind turbine scheme (up to 200m tip height) in Caerphilly, on behalf of Bute Energy - a landmark renewable energy project for Wales.

Bridgend College, Pencoed

Successfully promoted Bridgend College’s land at Pencoed as a strategic housing site in the Replacement Local Development Plan (RLDP) which was adopted in March 2024. Since then, the team has prepared an outline planning application with an Environmental Impact Assessment, delivering over 800 homes, a primary school, public open space, and green infrastructure.

Garn Fach, Newtown

Supported the examination of a and secured planning for the Development of National Significance for a 17 wind turbine scheme (up to 150m tip height).

Parc Adfer, Flintshire

Provided planning support, including pre-application and EIA advice, associated with the proposal for post-combustion Carbon Capture technology at the existing Parc Adfer Energy Recovery Facility, Flintshire.

Successfully secured approval for DEEP Research Labs' world-class underwater research campus in the Forest of Dean, fostering pioneering ocean access innovations and economic growth in a biodiversity-rich environment.

The Peninsula, Cardiff

Acting for Orion Land & Leisure, Savills has submitted the masterplan for a major mixed use scheme at a 5,88 hectare regeneration site in Cardiff Bay, adjacent to Cardiff International Sports Village. The Cardiff Peninsula development will encompass over 1,000 new homes, an employment-generating innovation centre, alongside restaurants, shops and a landmark hotel. Regeneration specialist Orion was chosen by the Cardiff Peninsula Consortium to bring the landmark scheme forward as the master developer. Orion previously delivered the International Pool which was the first significant development in this part of the Bay.
