Brenig Construction Help Deliver Fibre Optic Broadband to North Wales

Brenig Construction are local stars of the civil engineering and construction industry in North Wales. Now the talented team from Brenig have embarked on a project to help deliver super-fast fibre optic broadband in the North East of Wales and Cheshire.

This is part of the Carillion Telent BT Open Reach Network project. Earlier this year it was announced that Brenig Construction were awarded the framework contract for the supply of network engineering, installation services and maintenance work on the BT open reach network over Cheshire and the North East of Wales.

Work on this fantastic project is already underway and will take place over two years. The construction project is worth an impressive £3.2m per annum.

The contract is seeing Brenig Construction grow its workforce to meet the demands of this exciting contract. The workforce is expected to have grown by an additional 30% over the last 6 months.

Brenig are thrilled to be able to help deliver fast fibre optic broadband to their local communities. Fibre optic broadband has been in high demand for many years. Residents in these areas have been waiting a long time for this improvement and it should greatly benefit individuals and local businesses.

This is just one of several large scale projects that Brenig are currently involved with in the North Wales area. They are also making great Progress at the Burbo Bank On-Shore Substation Project alongside industry leaders Balfour Beatty.
